Care Instructions

 

ONE (1) HOUR after leaving the studio, wash the tattooed area with your Ivory soap - (lightly) Dry the area well – (Dab) Do not rub.

A good TWENTY FOUR (24) HOURS after leaving the studio, wash the tattooed area, dry well, wait ten (10) minutes, then apply your first application of Tattoo Goo. (VERY LIGHT, EVEN LAYER)

Anything other than what is recommended may damage or destroy your new tattoo. PLEASE use only the products that are provided to you. PLEASE follow the care instructions provided to you. AT ANY TIME day or night – if you have a question about your tattoo PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL! 419 – 427 – 0800.

Instructions should be followed until your tattoo is completely healed. This generally takes between 2-3 weeks. After the tattoo is completely healed, continue to moisturize the area. This makes for a bright, clear tattoo that you can be proud of for years to come.

ALWAYS wash your hands before applying salves.

You should only need to moisturize your tattoo once (1) a day. (Depending on your skin type) IF YOUR tattoo feels tight, looks wrinkled, itches, all of these are signs that your tattoo needs a bit of moisture. DO NOT DROWN your tattoo with the Tattoo Goo. “A LITTLE DAB’LL DO YA” DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH at your Tattoo. Let the flakes and the crust fall off naturally (“HAVE PATIENCE”)

THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE FOLLOWED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE HEALING PROCESS

  • ALWAYS THINK CLEAN!!
  • NO Extreme Sunlight or Heat! NO Tanning Booths!
  • NO SWIMMING: Saltwater, Freshwater, or Chlorine Pools!
  • NO Sauna Baths; Steam Rooms; or Whirl Pools
  • No Direct Shower Spray: Cool Showers Only
  • No Perfumed Soaps! Ivory is Best
  • No Shaving Over Tattoo Until Completely Healed
  • ALWAYS Pat Dry your Tattoo! NEVER Rub at the Area
  • ALWAYS Dry Well: Make sure of no bleeding or weeping
  • NO Salves at night: Moist in the day; Dry at night
  • NO Restrictive clothing!
  • ALWAYS THINK CLEAN!
